Advertising Policy & How We Make Money

Last updated: June 20, 2026

Guilder Funding LLC ("Guilder Funding") is an independent referral service. This page explains how we make money, what that means for the content on this site, and how we comply with our disclosure obligations.

1. The short version

  • We earn a referral fee when a funding partner accepts a lead we have sent them.
  • This is the only way the site makes money.
  • Our compensation does not change which partner receives any given lead. Routing is determined by the visitor's intake answers, not by which partner pays the most.
  • We do not sell visitor data to lead-broker aggregators. Each lead is sent to one partner.
  • The footer of every page includes a short disclosure summarizing this page.

2. How we earn compensation

When a visitor completes the intake form on Guilder Funding, we route the submission to one funding partner. If the partner accepts the lead (and, depending on the partner, fulfills additional milestones such as a completed phone call with the visitor or a successfully funded application), we receive a payment.

The payment structure varies by partner and may include:

  • Cost-per-lead (CPL): a fixed amount when the partner accepts a qualified lead.
  • Cost-per-call (CPC): a fixed amount when the partner's funding specialist successfully reaches the visitor by phone.
  • Cost-per-funded (CPF): a percentage or fixed amount when the visitor accepts terms and is funded by the partner.

The specific amount we earn for any given interaction is set by the partner and is subject to change. We do not disclose specific commission amounts because they are confidential between us and each partner and are not relevant to the visitor's decision about whether to accept the partner's terms.

3. What this compensation does not change

  • It does not change the routing logic. The partner who receives a given lead is determined by the visitor's intake answers (revenue, time in business, credit profile range, recent funding decline, financing amount, use of funds). A partner who pays more does not receive leads they would not otherwise qualify for.
  • It does not let a partner remove or suppress content. A partner cannot pay us to remove a competitor from the site or to hide unfavorable information.
  • It does not change our partner-vetting criteria. A partner who fails our internal vetting is removed regardless of payout. See our Editorial Policy for the vetting criteria.
  • It does not let a partner write or pre-approve our copy. We write the site copy ourselves and we own what is published on it.

4. Funding partners

Guilder Funding currently works with the following partners. Each lead is routed to exactly one of these partners based on the intake answers. The full list is also disclosed in our Privacy Policy as required by state consumer-privacy laws.

Small-business financing

  • Lendzi (small-business financing marketplace). The default destination for leads who meet small-business lending criteria.

Credit-repair services

  • Credit Saint (credit-repair services). The destination for leads whose personal credit profile is not yet ready for business financing.

We may add or change partners over time. We will update this list within 30 days of any change.

5. How we identify sponsored content

We follow the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and apply the following on this site:

  • Footer disclosure. The footer of every page on Guilder Funding includes a short advertiser disclosure summarizing how we make money.
  • This advertising policy. The full disclosure of how we make money and who our partners are lives on this page, linked from the footer of every page.
  • "How we make money" callout on the homepage. A short version of this disclosure appears below the fold on the homepage.
  • Partner naming in the privacy policy. Current partner names are listed in our Privacy Policy as required by California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other state consumer-privacy laws.

6. Rates, fees, and program terms

Any rates, fees, or program terms shown on Guilder Funding reflect what the partner published at the time of our most recent update. Partners change their terms frequently. Always confirm current rates and terms with the partner before accepting an offer.

7. What we will not do

  • We do not run pay-to-play partner placement (rotating partners in based on payout rather than fit).
  • We do not use deceptive ad creative on Meta or other ad platforms (no fake celebrity endorsements, no fabricated testimonials, no specific savings or credit-score guarantees).
  • We do not represent ourselves as a government agency, a federal program, or anything we are not.
  • We do not use incentivized traffic (rewarded clicks, cashback-for-completion offers).
  • We do not sell visitor data to data brokers or lead-aggregator networks. We do transfer it to one funding partner who pays us a referral fee, which California's CCPA and similar state laws classify as a "sale" of personal information. See our Privacy Policy for the full disclosure and your opt-out rights.

8. Becoming a partner

If you operate a business-financing or credit-repair program and would like to be considered for partnership, email hello@guilderfunding.com. We respond on a rolling basis based on whether the program meets our vetting criteria.
